Hello! My name is Mrs. Alicia Caiola.  The 2019-2020 school year is impending and I am extremely excited to get to know my new students and work with my former students!  We will have a wonderful year of learning, discovery, and growth! This is my third year teaching in Notus and my fifth year teaching and my second year teaching  4th/5th combo classes! Related image

First, I would like to tell you a little about myself! I was born in a (then) very rural town in San Diego County, Ramona, CA, and I am the youngest of five girls. When I was 12, we moved to Oak Harbor, WA.  I attended Oak Harbor High School, where I met my husband, and we graduated in 1986. My husband joined the Navy after high school and I adjusted well to military life.

My husband and I have three grown children. Our oldest son is a mechanic, our daughter graduated BSU and has since moved to North Carolina and works in retail, and our youngest son graduated high school in 2015, currently works in the food manufacturing industry. Both boys are Eagle Scouts as well and our amazing daughter, we are incredibly blessed to announce, is a brain cancer survivor of 8 strong years.

I graduated from the University of Phoenix May 2014. I have lived in Caldwell, Idaho for the past 15 years. During the years of arriving in Idaho and becoming a teacher, I worked for the Idaho Department of Juvenile Corrections as the school registrar.  Before moving to the gorgeous state of Idaho, my family roamed all over during my husband’s 21-year Naval career. We have lived in Sasebo, Japan for three years; Bremerton, WA for two years; San Diego, CA twice for a total of six years; and Ft. Meade, MD for three years.

Some personal info about me, I love animals, singing, nature, hiking, reading, movies, cooking, going to the theater, and I have a crazy collection of penguin stuff.
